Having a problem opening .vds files in diagram.net. When I open the file I get error (unknown error) and the file will not open.
How can I fix this problem?

Please attach a zipped copy of the .vsd file.

Try converting to .vsdx in a modern Visio version and import that. But without the failing input, we're unable to do anything.

I can't. Send use https://drawio.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/14/group/15/create/49 to send us the file.

Thanks. The problem is the vsd file contains macros, we don't have support for macros at this time. You'd have to manually save the file without the macro.

My suggestion would be to open that .vsd file in Visio, click File > Save as and choose "Visio drawing" from the "Save as type" drop down list. Then one notification will appear and you should choose to save as macro-free. When you save the file like that you should be able to import it via File > Import or drag&drop.
