Devu

devu is a web application for creating mock GraphQL APIs. You generate APIs that automatically send mock data simply by writing out a GraphQL schema, and saving it to your user. You are then free to query the generated API hosted under your name. It is smart enough to understand what type of mock data should be generated for fields depending on their type and name.

Furthermore, devu lets you stitch together API schemas with other users, so if you find someone else's mock API useful, you can simply add them and it will appear correctly namespaced in your API.

This was a very social approach to mock API generation, however, the idea could be changed so that an API can be named and not belong to a specific user. Either way, you have an easily composable way to quickly create a GraphQL API. Useful for testing and prototyping.

This is a Next.js project bootstrapped with create-next-app.

Getting Started

First, run the development server:

npm run dev
# or
yarn dev

Open http://localhost:3000 with your browser to see the result.

You can start editing the page by modifying pages/index.tsx. The page auto-updates as you edit the file.

API routes can be accessed on http://localhost:3000/api/hello. This endpoint can be edited in pages/api/hello.ts.

The pages/api directory is mapped to /api/*. Files in this directory are treated as API routes instead of React pages.
