Android does not require support as it is able to directly connect to private servers. You will just need to go to Settings and in the General section > Profile and set the Use Cellular Data slider to on, if you're trying to play while not connected to WiFi. Note that this gets reset after most updates, so you may receive a warning when on 4G saying connection to server blocked, just head back in here change the setting back to on and you'll be able to connect.
Hey @Shizuri23, as azariah001 mentioned above, Android already supports directly connecting to servers by IP and it supports connecting to phantom LAN servers as well (in the "Friends" tab when phantom is running).
