Thank you for submitting this issue! Your observations help improve the quality of the data provided through GloBI.

I have traced the unlikely parasites mentioned to a specific source (Hechinger et al. 2011) and fixed a GloBI bug in the an interaction mapping. See message of commit above for more info. The corrections should propagate within a day or two.

Please feel free to re-open the issue of the unlikely parasites still appear.

Was parasite-host connection between Tripolium pannonicum and Carex extensa correct then?

Thank you, it is said there that Carex extensa is parasited by A. t. pycnium and aecium which are, afaik, parts of parasitic fungus life cycle (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/1/15/Puccina_graminis_lifecycle.gif), so that well might be an error worth reporting to BioInfo curator.

You're quite correct. This was a data entry error. The two offending records have now been deleted in the source database. Thanks for pointing this out.

@MalcolmStorey thanks for resolving this so quickly. Once you provide updated version of the bioinfo data, I can propagate your corrections to GloBI. Idea - should we setup a weekly export so that GloBI can pickup changes automatically?

Hi Jorrit,

I don’t think a weekly export is worth the trouble. I haven’t made any changes for months. It’s mainly a winter activity and actually I haven’t done much for a couple of winters now.

I agree. I'll continue to make updates whenever you send an updated version of the database. It would make it easier for me if you would simply put the latest version at an internet accessible place. This way, I can automate the process of updating bio info whenever updates are available. If you like this idea, please provide the link to your archive.
