Flash webcam preview works fine for me. I have tested it on many browsers and platforms. Can you provide me with more information? What OS / browser are you using, and what kind of webcam do you have? Can you try JPEGCam and see if that works?

Please close, sorry. Problem between the Keyboard and the Chair. My Bootstrap dialog class was trying to format the "String" I passed to it and decorated it with </ br> statements to make the lines a reasonable length. JPEG doesn't seem to like that :)
