Description

This is a Movie API application that allows users to search for movies and retrieve information about them.

Features

• Search for movies by title
• Retrieve detailed information about a specific movie
• Retrieve information about a specific genre, director, or artist
• Add and remove movies to favorites list
• Sign up and log into an account
• Update profile

Installation

1. Clone the repository: git clone https://github.com/jimmy8000/movie_api.git
2. Install the dependencies: npm install
3. Set up the database connection in config.js
4. Start the server: npm start

Usage

1. Open your web browser and navigate to http://localhost:3000
2. Use the search bar to search for movies
3. Click on a movie to view more details
4. Sign up or log in to add movies to your favorites list.
