Would be nice to have pseudo-tls over tcp support in the bridge as well as described on http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd947700(v=office.12).aspx
chrome and hangouts use a similar thing. I wiresharked a little and the handshake is as follows:

Googling for the first bytes of that leads to a file GoogleTurnSSLCandidateHarvester.java in ice4j which already contains those strings :-)
The candidate type for those is "ssltcp". http://hancke.name/tmp/ssltcp shows an example of using it.
