The android xmpp client aTalk, a fork from jitsi-android. It uses Smack library 4.1.8 and supports XEP-0198 protocol. The application is free can be downloaded from the following site if you would like to give a try. http://atalk.sytes.net/releases/atalk-android/aTalk-release.apk |
@cmeng-git I can't find any sources of aTalk. Can you point us to them? |

The source is still under modification and is not ready to be released to the community for access.
However I would much appreciate if the interested parties from the community can help to evaluate the beta release and provide feedback.

@Neustradamus especially for you I'll take a look. But as we discussed with @damencho test is more urgent. So if this issue will require some deep investigations I'll move it in future. |
So I suppose it requires some changes in UI for showing message status ... |
Support for Stream Management would tremendously enhance the message reliability, e.g. when you are working with a laptop with an unsteady connection.
