That's it. It just plain doesn't work. It prompts to make a new server, but when the option is selected, it doesn't add anything. I thought that maybe I was doing something wrong, so I messed around with it for a while. I tried running with root permissions (because otherwise, it gives a "permission denied" error when trying to specify a directory, even when the directory is in the $HOME folder with 777 permissions! 777 means that anyone can do anything within it's scope, but evidently not this app...)

The frustrating part is that there is no error handling. When I do choose to create a server, I just get some output text that looks like it was generated by the underlying framework / language, and nothing happens. The program exits, and nothing is created in the specified folder. I tried rerunning mcserv and choosing the 'update existing' option, and I get the message "You don't have any servers yet!"

What gives? I'll try downloading from here and installing from source, just in case that is an old version, but Im not getting my hopes up...
