Star Citizen Action Maps

Custom joystick action maps for Star Citizen for use with Hands On Mouse And Stick (HOMAS) mode. Updated for Star Citizen Alpha 2.4

Download the zip file and copy the xml files into the directory:

C:\<StarCitizenInstallDir>\CitizenClient\USER\Controls\Mappings

To load the custom joystick bindings, open the Game Console (~) and use the pp_rebindkeys command.

pp_rebindkeys

Will set the default action maps.

pp_rebindkeys custom_joystick_ironman

Will apply new action maps by file name from the mappings directory above.

Notes

Every time you sit in the pilots seat, or re-spawn you'll have to enable HOMAS Mode (Right Shift). This will disable rotating/pitching with the mouse so you can aim your turrets and gimbaled weapons. If your like me you'll also have to hit (Right Alt + .) to swap yaw and rotate on the joystick axes X & Y.
