I'm diving back into this library πŸŠβ€β™€οΈ and going to give it some much needed ❀️ and updates. Keep up with this issue is you want to know what's going on. Much of the work, however, will happen in each component's repository (links in the readme).

But here's what I'm thinking (will continuously update this list):

Stabilize

  • Add tests! Wow!

Simplify

  • Remove jQuery dependency It's not critical here and it would be nice to shave down the dependencies a bit,
  • Remove support for d3 charts Fully flexible charts are tricky and a big task on their own and I am but one person with limited time. It will still remain possible to add your own though.
  • New tempting library Cause icanhaz doesn't seem active anymore?
  • Update map deps Lots has changed with Mapbox/Leaflet in these many years

Enhance

  • More data parsing methods
  • Better sorting/filtering
  • I'm sure the CSS could do with a cleanup and update
  • Improve documentation and site
  • (Finally) Make options for using a server if you want

Forkables!

  • Make more templates for sites with Sheetsee that people can Fork-n-go.
