Hi!
I would like the possibility to edit the Cap type of a standard line. It is today not possible to edit this using VBA and I'm therefore required to do it manually. So it would be nice to have this feature in XlsxWriter instead.

By default the Cap type is Round. But in the line-settings dialog Excel offers the possibility to choose between the options: Square, Round and Flat.

To change this in the Excel-document one only need to modify the XML-file for the chart. In the line tag (<a:ln>) the ´cap-attribute´ should be added with the three possible choices as follows:

Square: <a:ln cap="sq">
Round: <a:ln cap="rnd">
Flat: <a:ln cap="flat">

Thanks!

I'll look into it.

Just to be clear, you are referring to lines in a chart, right?

I'm cleaning up feature requests that I'm probably not going to get around to and/or didn't generate enough interest. Unfortunately this is one of them. Closing as Won't Fix.
