I hope you don't mind if I leave this here - justrun kept detecting multiple CHMOD events for the same file even though I was only modifying it once and I spent two hours figuring out why. it turns out that Spotlight was also running on the files and changing... something? about it, maybe the atime - it was generating a second CHMOD event about 1.2 seconds later.

The fix is to go into Spotlight Privacy settings and just turn it off everywhere.
