I have following suggestion regarding current Angular LTS versions support as long as current version depends on obsolete Angular v8:

  • Create branch v9, update dependencies to Angular v9 and release it under v1.9.* and support it until Aug 2021
  • Create branch v10, update dependencies to Angular v10 and release it under v1.10.* and support it until Dec 2021
  • Create branch v11, update dependencies to v11, release it under v1.11.* and support it until May 2022
  • When v12 comes out - do the same

I can take care on branching and releasing, just need a green light on this

Would be glad to help

v1.0.* - for Angular <= v8
v1.9.* - for Angular v9
v1.10.* - for Angular v10
v1.11.* - for Angular v11
