Comments
I Agree for the Unicode Support it would Fantastic specially for Facebook and Twitter ! Thx for the Add-on ob Firefox ! 👍 |
Awesome, can't wait to see it running 👍 |
So, yeah, Unicode support seems to be a much wanted feature. I didn't have time to add more than minor bugfixes in the last weeks, but I think I can tackle this now. 🎉 |
Yes 👍👍👍 👍 Good Week-End to All ! :) |
Anyone interested can check out the new version by either building it yourself or downloading the pre-release extension file from https://github.com/johannhof/emoji-helper/releases/tag/v0.6.0 and installing it in your browser. If there are no objections/suggestions I'll publish this in a day or so. |
Will Test it Monday ! :) Thx ! |
Just installed in FF28 and don't seem to work even if RDF file min ver is V26 ??? It install see it in about add-on but No Icon on/in toolbar.. Nothing ??? |
Good observation, the cfx tool does not allow for specification for min or max versions, it just defaults to the "current" versions of Firefox, which is 26, for some reason. 🐽 Official compatibility is 29-* Luckily you can set these values in the Mozilla addon store. 😏 |
Alright, should be available for download in all the stores and on the releases page. Thanks everyone! If there's anything broken or if you're still missing something, don't hesitate to make an issue. 😀 I'm gonna close this now. |
Congratulations, I was looking for an add-on like yours for a very long time, now my Firefox browser is happier and so am I! Is there a way to open emoji sheet without having to click the toolbar icon (Ctrl + E, for instance)? Cheers 👍 |
Hey Jim, glad you like it 😁. I absolutely feel your pain. I switched (back) to Firefox recently, and I really miss Chrome's ability to map extension actions to shortcuts. I'm gonna start working on milestone 0.7 soon and I'll make an issue for that to be sure that some shortcut is included in the next version. 🎉 |
