Any way Google's emojis (those used in Hangouts and Android) can be added to the extension?

Excuse me if this isn't the right place to ask, it was the only place I could find to get in contact with you.

Thanks!

Hi, don't worry, seems like the perfect place for such a suggestion.

Do you want to use the Google Emojis on GitHub (or Trello, Campfire, etc)?

That's not as easy, they're not officially supported. The extension is a cheat sheet for supported emoji codes (so that you don't have to type :japanese_castle: when you want to write 🏯).

Oh! I was confused. I thought this was more like an emoji-keyboard, for typing emoji on websites like twitter. I have an extension on Chrome that lets me type emojis, and I thought this was a similar extension for safari. I guess I didn't use it for long enough to see what it really did.

Sorry!

Since this is a cheat sheet for emoji, can you add unicode emoji support (like ones listed at http://getemoji.com/ --is this the same with the google ones?) so besides normal text like mentioned above it also has corresponding unicode character to copy to clipboard. Facebook and Twitter supports this kind of emoji--although not all of them.

@caseyls No worries, thanks for contributing anyway :)

@phurccon Sounds like a very good idea!

Unicode support would be awesome! I have found this addon too as I was searching for a unicode emoji keyboard 😉

I made a new issue for Unicode support, shouldn't be too hard to implement.
