Overview

tes3cmd is a command line tool for the Elder Scrolls game Morrowind. It can examine plugins, modify them in various ways, and produce automatic patches, as for merging leveled lists. tes3cmd is written in Perl, and is extensible by writing little Perl snippets, giving you complete control over TES3 plugins.

One of the most powerful features of tes3cmd is also the simplest "tes3cmd dump", which allows you to get a human readable text version of a plugin. If you want to know exactly what is in a plugin and what it does, using the dump command makes it a snap.
