Recording Session Prep: Automating Track Colours and I/O.

Description

This JavaScript script runs using Soundflow and is designed for use with Avid Pro Tools. This script sets the track colour and I/O routing for a selected track and aidds in greatly speeding up session prep times.

A simple version of this script uses the Avid Pro Tools feature "recall track preset" to set our desired track I/O routing, then sets the track colour to our choice.

For this script we:

• Highlight a desired audio track.
• Launch the maco via a keyboard shortcut or Stream Deck button.
• Recall a "track preset" according to our desired I/O routing.
• Change the track's colour.
