This objective C library is a reboot of fantastic work done by Gus Prevas https://github.com/kprevas in SenorStaff osx app.
I've included the Señor Staff app as a reference. It can input notes into staffs and supports playback to any MIDI device.

The OSXApp-Reference - Non ARC. The models have ui logic / classes. This predates ios operating system.
Notion - is an attempt to reboot library - reusing the core models which have been ARC'd. Currently its loading a midi file and parsing this into components > Staffs / Measures / Notes + Rests.

What's next? Join the project - start chipping away at recreating the ui
known regression the MusicXML parts of app were overiding the description method in models. I commented these parts out - it would be good to get this working again. http://www.musicxml.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/musicxml-tutorial.pdf
