Yes, of course you need to give the path if you haven't added it to your $PATH. From the readme:
Bind the script to a hotkey or add it to your $PATH for quick access
And yes, if you add the .sh file to your $PATH you will of course need to give the extension, too.
However most people would probably create a symlink , e.g. /usr/bin/imgur-screenshot. That's why I left it out in the examples in the readme.
I think this is obvious enough for everyone to understand however.
Wouldn't running this require the extension:
imgur-screenshot.sh
? I would also advise clarifying that./
