"FileSystemException" is thrown due to incorrect path separator. My implementation of the fix can be improved upon.
With "Controlled Folder Access" disabled or "MyApp.exe" allowed through CFA, the previous line works properly. This was not working because of an issue on my side.
Removal of "collection" passed and works properly.

The version was also bumped to 2.0.1 to accommodate for these patches.
