It's possible to have an icon show in gmail rather than just a letter that they choose. It helps make it look more professional and enhances the brand. The SP favicon we have I think would be perfect for it.
( I've already done the gmail way by setting the profile photo for sketchplanator@gmail.com as the favicon, but I don't think that's related to sketchplanations.com )
