Get data from the new jed

The Jed has changed to new environment, now its lost images on the webinstaller.

Indeed. Efforts are already underway to migrate the Web Installer to the new JED platform

Anyone knows if the new JED has an API so we can get rid of the server part on our end?

It does have an API. Working with the new JED team to get all the details
so we can start putting in the pieces in the web installer.

Cool. Would be great if we can change the client to consume the data from the API instead of hardcoded HTML output like today.

Yes that's ideal and we'll hopefully be able to go that route now that the
JED directly has APIs.

I've been able to get most of it working, a few things remain in case anyone wants to take a shot. I won't be able to get to the remaining bits until mid next week

Here's the PR that has the work done so far. What's remaining

• Fix the category/subcategory list in sidebar
• Update the view/model for the extensions by category view
