BTW, concerning these patches, this is the best tutorial I have found on the use of these specific unicode bidi FORMAT characters. |

As in the linked, accepted fixes, this is the correct solution. Easy PR, I will merge it to have it in the coming 3.4.1. Thank you @infograf768! |
