The steps (as described in the slides)

1. Add element to NCEW
2. Add element to CType list
3. Add desired configuration to configure the backend edit form
4. Add a simple fluid backend preview
5. And finally make it available in the frontend by adding the frontend rendering instructions

Just leave an issue or a PR. And hey, take a look into the commit messages. The single steps are also documented there - of course, in perfect english ;-]
