Using abbreviation well can make our code looks easier to read. However, different developer always has different abbreviation vocabularies that often makes more confusion than benefits. To eliminate the gap and have better maintenance, here lists down the abbreviation you should and shouldn't use.

Abbreviations You Should Always Use

bg = background
btn = button
func = function
ico = icon
img = image
intro = introduction
js = javascript
mod = module
msg = message

txt = text

Abbreviations You Should Avoid to Use

cont - Does it mean container, content, count, or continue?
grp - Does it mean grep or group?
exp - Does it mean experience or expire?
