I also have issues with 0.11.14-x64.msi. Even though I was able to successfully install node from http://nodejs.org/dist/v0.11.14/x64/node-v0.11.14.20140819-x64.msi, most of the packages seems to rely on the format of the node version which is usually |
I got the same issue #8591 (Duplicate) |
The plan is to release 0.11.15 very soon, with a x64 Windows binary built correctly this time. That version will supersede 0.11.14. So closing, but feel free to let us know if you need a correct 0.11.14 x64 Windows binary even after 0.11.15 is released. |
I apologize for saying one month ago that 0.11.15 was supposed to be released soon when it hasn't been released yet. If using the x86 version is not an option for you, #8460 has been reopened, hopefully we'll be able to re-upload the correct version of the 0.11.14 release for Windows x64 sooner rather than later. I have no ETA for this though at this moment. |
Given link from http://blog.nodejs.org/2014/09/24/node-v0-11-14-unstable/ http://nodejs.org/dist/v0.11.14/x64/node-v0.11.14-x64.msi does not work. Instead we find this file http://nodejs.org/dist/v0.11.14/x64/node-v0.11.14.20140819-x64.msi which has 19-aug-2014 date in opposite to others with 24-sep-2014 date. Is x64 installer broken?
