to set up vim (1. vim Plug, 2. solarized theme):

• curl -fLo ~/.vim/autoload/plug.vim --create-dirs \ https://raw.githubusercontent.com/junegunn/vim-plug/master/plug.vim
• git clone https://github.com/lifepillar/vim-solarized8.git \ ~/.vim/pack/themes/opt/solarized8

install tmux

vim, fluxbox, lxterminal, zathura, vifm, ulauncher, i3, etc...

all files that do not start with a "." belong into the .config folder of the our user directory "/home/user1"
