Recent changes to AUTHORS break several tests

The following tests use the AUTHORS file, and fail since 3ac08e3:

tests/jo.test 8 -  data from file: text
tests/jo.test 9 -  data from file: base64-encoded
tests/jo.test 17 -  type coercion

Perhaps it would make sense to add a dedicated sample file to the tests directory instead?
