New tab widget (based on UI)

I needed badly the jquery tabs in jquery mobile, and to my surprise, all that was required was to add the widget with its corresponding css.
can this become standard so that it can benefit from the swatches?

I suppose you mean the jQuery UI Tabs widget? Adding a tab widget like that to jQuery Mobile is on the roadmap for 1.4.

I wonder whether each tab would have its own footer with this proposal? It seems that buttons in the footer would take action specifically to the contents of the visible tab?

I updated my collapsible tabs (repo/example) to latest JQM and fixed horizontal collapsible-content padding/margin.

I still like the idea of doing tabs as horizontal collapsible-set :-)
