Device state is not recognized by Homey #46
Comments
@VioDimi Is this the case when you start another activity or when you control an individual device? |
Hy Jreenen,
You have done a GREAT Job.
My case is:
I have automated the lights. But if the TV is on should not turn on. Since
the TV is in more than one activity, I have added it as device als put in
the flow a condition "if TV is Off".
So I have tested right know and its the same with starting activity or
device by Harmony. If I start the trough Homey, by Device is recognizing
the state of the device (Homey is Channing the state).
If I start the activity trought Homey is recognizing the device state also.
So it is only if I start activity/device with the Harmony itself.
Iti was/is working in Version 1.4.3. On Homey 1.5.13.
Tanks
Viorel

@VioDimi I will investigate this. Please know that this app only recognizes state changes in activities and not on single devices if they are executed by e.g. the harmony remote and not on the Homey app. If I understand you correctly currently it doesn't work on activity changes also. This should work and will look into that. |
Hy Jreenen,
In the mentionet version it is working.
Look at the attashed flow.
Ist still working (i have disebled all the Updates on that Homey.
Tanks!

Your latest comment confuses me a bit. Is there still something I need to investigate? Thanks! Jeroen |
Still to investigate.
In zur actual version, the state of the device is not updated if started
with the harmony remote trought action. If the action is triggerd by Homey
then, Yes, but if the action is triggered by the harmony remote than No.

If not could you close this issue?
If there still is something that needs investigation could you try to
repeat what seems to be the issue?
Thanks!
Jeroen

Can you please close this issue if nothing needs to be investigated anymore. |
If started with Harmony, the device State (on/off) is not changed by Homey
