It appears that the structure writes to folders node and root and the files contained therein do not respect existing extensions (e.g. encryption). Is it possible to have support for encrypted storage? We'd gladly sponsor your efforts.

For example, the use of aes256cbc from https://github.com/utelle/wxsqlite3.
