The following announcement has been made regarding the v1.1 spec:
As of August 22, 2022, this release candidate is considered feature complete. It will be released as the next official version of the JSON:API specification on September 30, 2022 unless any significant changes are required. Please review and try out this release candidate prior to its finalization.
This issue will be kept open until either v1.1 is released on September 30 or a significant issue is raised that causes us to re-evaluate this release. We will post any news related to v1.1rc4 and v1.1 final in this tracking issue.
Thanks to the whole JSON:API community for your patience and help reaching this milestone. And a special thanks to @jelhan, who has been especially helpful refining the spec over the past year, and has now joined the team as an editor 🎊
