I don't know how is the Bash version is too fast, but my fish version takes a minute to create alias for each program.
so I allowed user to update aliases by hand, and save them to fish function path, instead of creating aliases on startup.

Hmmm, the bash version runs almost instantly for me... I'll have a look through and see if it's good to merge :)
