Issue #215 doesn't seem to be resolved for several AMIs

ami-80bedfb0 us-west-2 starcluster-base-ubuntu-13.04-x86_64-hvm (HVM-EBS)

I had same same problem with ami-3393a45a (Virginia) and ami-044abf73 (Ireland) while it works with ami-7c5c3915 (Virginia) and ami-6c3a2f18 (Ireland).
I haven't checked additional AMIs.
It would probably be a good idea check all AMIs on all locations, not only the starcluster-base-ubuntu-13.04-x86_64*
