Two of my users have reported unsubscribing from the gather-users plugin using /gather-plugin off, I have confirmed this with each of them using /gather-plugin info, which showed that they were no longer on the list.
However, when monday rolled around, we found that these two users had again been matched with someone for a meeting, and appeared as subscribed in the /gather-plugin info dialogue.

Thanks. Interestingly:
- the users that are being readded seem to have no meeting history, despite
having had many meetings before.
- the odd user list does not contain them.
I have turned off and back on the gather plugin and removed the users, we
will see what happens this Monday. I do not have a test environment for
this.
