Alternatively, you can install it from the local directory:
git clone https://github.com/jubnzv/anki-tray
cd anki-tray && zip -r ../anki-tray.ankiaddon *
Then navigate in Anki menu Tools -> Add-ons -> Install from file...
and choose the created archive.
