I couldn't get filter: ["blur(20px)", "blur(0px)"] to work. I was able to workaround it by animating an object property and manually applying the style with jQuery.

Related to #167, #164.
Something is wrong in some cases with certain CSS properties.
I think it's related to the way units are handled.
I'll look into this soon.
