I can use FakeGPS -g to pull the current settings, it says it's setting the registry when I use -s, but when I check google maps it still shows my real current location.

Same here... Windows 10 PRO x64
When trying FakeGPS -g, result is:
The following location has been returned from the Windows location API:
Lat: NaN
Long: NaN

Is your Location turned on under Privacy settings > Location ?

You need to disable and re-enable the driver in device manager after each setting
