Installation

This blog is based on Jekyll, a ruby application. Run the following commands to configure the application:

On Debian-based Linux:

$ git clone https://github.com/julien-sobczak/blog.git
$ cd blog
# apt-get install ruby rubygems ruby-dev
# gem install bundler
$ bundle install

On MacOS:

# brew install ruby
# gem install bundler
$ bundle

To launch the application locally:

$ ./run.sh

Open your browser on http://localhost:4000.

Implementation

This blog was bootstraped using the Jekyll AsciiDoc Quickstart project.

Deployment

The blog is deployed using GitHub Actions and served by GitHub Pages (with enforced HTTPS enabled): https://juliensobczak.com

A version including drafts is also deployed in parallel using Netlify directly: https://juliensobczak.netlify.app/
