If we have a folder named "project" and we want to create a file named "project" jupyterLab prompts "Do you want to overwrite the folder" and it will overwrite if we accept to do it. Issue occurs in both ways.
Could anyone specify if the issue is already encountered and if yes how it has been dealt?

We were expecting the same behaviour as with Windows or Unix. To be more precise, we dont have an option for overwriting the existing one. We are obliged to specify a new name. So, no accidentel loss.
