First of all, thanks for this project, it's really great!

This is an issue since version 1.7 of the reMarkable software. PDFs that are sent to the reMarkable can no longer be opened and are stuck on loading. They are also shown as having "Page 1 of 0". The same issue was reported here, but I don't know if the fix can be ported to rMAPI.

I've tried different ways of editing the zip file that is created by rMAPI to see if I could fix it, but haven't found a solution yet.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

Hi,

I'm still on 1.6 so I can't repro the issue. If I had a more concrete description of what's failing and how to fix it I could give it a go, otherwise it'll have to wait a few weeks until I can find more time to look into it.

Thanks for the quick response. Essentially what's failing is that a PDF pushed by rMAPI can't be opened on the reMarkable. When you open the document on the reMarkable, the "three dots" progress bar is shown indefinitely. I can wait a few weeks and I'll try to do some more experimenting to see if I can find out where it fails.

I can add that it also affects any previously uploaded PDF that has not been opened on the reMarkable before 1.7 (1.7.1.3 in my case).

I usually upload PDFs to my unread directory with rmapi. I had a bunch of PDFs that I uploaded "a month ago", two of which I opened then and the rest I never opened. Those two that I opened I can still open, but the others are broken in the same way now (three dots loading forever, 1 of 0 pages etc.)
