This could be achieved by hacking the layout file with some layout utility classes float-right on the TOC block. This won’t be supported out of the box though.

What would be very great if the TOC would be shown on the right side - if there is enough space on three screen.

This refs #625 somehow. At #625, it was asked about automatic TOC generation. Here it is asked to show the generated TOC on the right side - if there is enough space.

@koppor sure - just for posterity's sake, do you want to make a new issue and link to this one as well? I do think it'll need some discussion (I'm not sure how feasible this is, especially for mobile).

This should be much easier after I implement #959.
