contact sensor

Hi, is it possible to implement a contact sensor with sinric? I want to place a contact sensor saying me when a door or window is opened or closed and using Alexa I would create a routine that says something when one of these events happen. I don't have an Alexa compatible contact sensor but I guess Alexa support a routine with this kind of sensor...
