Linux Kamarada should allow its users easy remote administration using a remote desktop client.

Vinagre is a remote desktop viewer for GNOME.

It can be installed with:

# zypper in vinagre vinagre-lang

Remote access to a Windows 10 host using Vinagre + RDP does not work. Vinagre logs in, but shows a black screen.

It's a bug that affects openSUSE Leap 15.1, Leap 15.2 and Tumbleweed.

It works on Debian Buster 10.2.0.

Vinagre is abandonware: 3 years since the latest release (3.22.0, on Sep 20, 2016) without any big update since then.

I'm going to follow Ubuntu and adopt Remmina.

It can be installed with:

# zypper in remmina remmina-lang
