Screenshot Index Updater VBScript

A simple VBScript to update the Screenshot Index value in the Windows Registry.

What is Screenshot Index

The Screenshot Index is a value stored in the Windows Registry that is used to keep track of the next number to use when naming screenshots taken using the Print Screen. This value is stored in the registry key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\ScreenshotIndex.

Usage

1. Download the UpdateScreenshotIndex.vbs file.
2. Double-click the file to run it.
3. Enter the new value for the Screenshot Index.
4. The script will update the Screenshot Index value in the Windows Registry.

Note This script is designed to run on Windows operating systems and requires administrative privileges to modify the Windows Registry.
