Updating
Updating the plugin is really simple and convenient. Simply drag and drop the new file into your plugins/ folder. Make sure you remove the old file, and read the change-log.
When the plugin updates, all settings are changed automatically. Unlike most plugins, ChatControl Pro prints every change into the console, so you have a track record of what has changed.
- This version introduced massive changes and improvements to settings.yml and thus it is not upgradable automatically.
- The file chat.yml has been split into formatting.yml and channels.yml, and will be renamed to old_chat.yml
As of this year, after coming back to maintaining the v8 versions, there hasn't been any breaking features that would require you to delete files or do any major movement rather than just replacing your jar.
Any further improvement or major modification will be always explained through our Spigot changelog message.
