As discussed with Robbie, I will be delivering the foundation for the new theming and UX direction we are moving to. This will be complete for the #3047 merge.

Things left to do:

  • Cover events need to retrigger getting the Colorscape
  • Color Scape needs to be an option (opt-out)
  • New CSS variables for configuring the color deriving code
  • Update documentation to explain elevation system and colorscape system
  • Tweak backend primary color code for when too much white/black
  • Tweak frontend code to generate a darker background overall
