As an IT administrator, I want to add new equipment to the system so that it can be tracked by the system. (IT admin #3)

  • Setup MongoDB.

  • Setup slim framework.

  • Write "Hello World!" REST API and test it.

  • Define REST API name.

  • Define communication format (XML vs JSON).

  • Write "Hello World" for POST API.

  • Write a shell script to automate db & framework installation and config.

  • Write a shell script or mongoDB query to initialize the DB.

  • Define the document format.

  • Make the api work with database

  • Complete REST API for this user story.

  • Add simple front-end

  • Figure out REST API unit testing.

  • Find & setup php IDE

Use Scripts/dev-env-setup.sh to setup development environment.
