This is NOT a generic tool for Mac fan control. It will limit the fan
maximum speed, which may cause overheating, crashes or damage to the
computer.
 
This is a special tool for certain old Mac Minis (~2008) that have a
noisy fan after memory upgrade. See for example this:

Tool will limit the maximum speed according to cpu temperature. The
limiting is done in steps with some hysteresis to avoid countinuous
adjusting. Temperature limits are hardcoded in code.

Install
=======

 * Test the tool
    sudo ./fantune 
      Set Speed: 2000 (0) Temp: 55 (0) Class: 1
        F0Mx  [fpe2]  1800 (bytes 1c 20)
        F0Mx  [fpe2]  2000 (bytes 1f 40)

 * Copy the tool to /usr/local/bin
    sudo cp fantune /usr/local/bin

 * Copy launchd configuration
    sudo cp dungeon.fantune.plist /Library/LaunchDaemons/

 * Start (or reboot)
    launchctl start dungeon.fantune
